Sabaw Ng Kangkong
Tasty and Affordable
4 Tbls. butter
2 Tbls. vegetable oil
1 bundle of kangkong
1 loaf bread, toasted and cut in cubes
2 Tbls. flour
6 cups beef broth
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 medium onion, chopped


Saute onion in melted butter and oil. add salt and pepper. Brown onions over low heat. Add flour.
Stir to a smooth paste.
Add beef stock and bouillon gradually. Stir constantly till boiling. Add the leaves of kangkong.
Top with slices of bread and sprinkle with cheese.
Serve immediately.
