Cari camaron ( prawn )
The Camarons are large river shrimp.
1 kg of prawns headless (river prawns)
3 tomatoes
1 large onion
6 cloves garlic
1 small piece ginger
4 small hot peppers
1 sprig of thyme
1 / 2 teaspoon turmeric
salt, oil


1) Clean the prawns with water. Split them to the back of the head to remove the filament black.

2) Finely chop the onions and tomatoes. In a mortar (or mixer), mash together the garlic, chilli, ginger and salt.

3) In a pot, brown the onions made ​​in two tablespoons of oil then add the crushed mixture and thyme. Then add tomatoes and turmeric. Finally, add the prawns. Mix well.

4) Pour in a glass of water and simmer for five minutes. The curry is ready when the sauce has slightly thickened.

5) To serve, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley. Serve with rice.
