Mock White Castle Burgers
A tasty mock up of a classic White Castle slider.
2 (12 count) pkgs king's hawaiian sweet rolls
2 lbs ground beef
2 tsp white vinegar
2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (unseasoned)
1/2 cup mayo
1 large onion diced finely
6 slices american cheese
olive oil

In a medium skillet, saute onions in enough olive oil to cover the bottom of the pan until onions are translucent.
While onions are cooking, mix ground bef, vinegar, garlic powder, and breadcrumbs in a medium bowl.
Form ground beef mixture into 24 equal balls and form into patties.
Remove onions from pan and set aside.
Cook burgers in batches until done, 4 minutes per side and in 4 batches (6 burgers per batch).
Split each roll in half.
Cut each slice of cheese into 4 small squares (now you should have 24 mini cheese slices and 24 buns split for topping).
Spread each roll, top and bottom with mayo.
Top half a roll (bun) with a mini cheese slice and small pile of sauted onions. Place a burger on top.
Top with other roll half. Enjoy
