Cheesy Pizza
pizza with a cheesy crust
• 100g Self Raising Flour
• A pinch of salt
• 1 tsp Baking Powder
• 25g Butter
• 50ml Milk
• 1 tbsp Tomato Puree
• 75g Grated Cheese
• 1/2 tsp Oregano/Basil
• 1 rasher bacon


Preheat the oven to 190ºC. Lightly grease a baking tray. Sieve the flour into a mixing bowl and mix in the butter. Add the baking powder and salt to the mixture. Mix well with the milk and 25g of the cheese. Mix until solid. Sprinkle a little flour on a hard, flat surface. Knead the dough until smooth. Roll out with a rolling pin until rather thin.
Lift onto the baking tray.
Mix the tomato puree with a little water and spread out onto the pizza. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on and add the bacon (make sure you have chopped the bacon beforehand) and oregano/basil.
Bake in the oven for 7-10 minutes or until the cheese begins to bubble. Lift onto a cooling rack and leave to cool for 10-15 minutes.
