Asian-Style Seafood Salad
Seviche-like with Asian Flair
4 cans minced clams or 2 lbs. steamed, chilled and chopped littlenecks
1 lb. cleaned, lightly steamed and sliced calimari
1/2 lb. steamed, chilled and halved shrimp (Jumbo probably the best)
1 small Spanish red onion, diced small
3-4 oz. dark soy sauce
1 1/2 oz. vegetable oil
1/2 oz. olive oil
chopped fresh thai chili peppers to taste (very powerful, so tread lightly)
julienned shiso leaves
juice from 2 limes


Combine liquid ingredients and chili peppers, excluding a small amount of lime juice for later. Chill well in refrigerator.

Prepare seafood and onion and combine in large serving bowl.

Once seafood is prepared, pour dressing over it, add shiso and toss well. Add remaining lime juice.


Preparation Time: 30 minutes Serves: 4-6
