Schubert, Orange Turkey
Turkey with Pam's orange marmalade glaze
1 (15 pound) whole turkey, giblets removed
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 tablespoon dried thyme
2 tablespoons dried sage
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
3/4 tablespoon salt
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 orange cut in wedges
1 can chicken broth
1/3 cup of melted butter
I jar of orange marmalade

Set oven to 350 degrees.
Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil so that there is enough to cover the turkey.
Mix the herbs and coat the inside of the turkey with them. Put the celery, onions and orange wedges into the cavity. Pour the chicken broth in the pan. Take the melted butter and baste the turkey with it, then spread the orange marmalade over the turkey. Cover it with foil and cook for 2.5 to 3 hours. Then uncover it for 30-45 minutes to become golden brown.
