E-Z Sweet and Sour Chicken
Simple Work Recipe -- Fast and Easy!
3/4 lb. boneless, cubed chicken
1 cup green and red pepper strips
1/4 cup light soy sauce
3 Tbls. vinegar
3 Tbls. brown sugar
1 Tbls. Vegetable Oil
1 Tbls. cornstarch
1 8oz. can Chunk Pineapple
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

 

Cook and stir the chicken in a Wok in hot oil until it is well-browned. Add the peppers. Cook and stir for one minute.

Mix cornstarch and soy sauce. Add to Wok along with the pineapple and juice, vinegar, sugar, ginger, and garlic powder. Bring to a full boil.

Serve immediately over cooked rice.

Tip:
Pre-assemble all your ingredients the night before and have dinner ready in less than 20 minutes!

Option:
Replace chicken with cubed pork or beef strips approx. 3/4 inch squares.
