Chicken with Yoghurt
18 pieces of medium size chicken pieces (preferably thighs)
01 large tonato
02 green chillies
1 1/2 cup fresh yoghurt
2 1/2 medium bombay onions
20 curry leaves
15 medium garlic cloves
1 inch of ginger
SPICES: 4 tsp curry powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp mustard powder, 1 tsp toasted curry powder, 5 tbls viniger & salt to taste.


Heat the oven beforehand.

Put the yoghurt, onion, garlic, ginger, curry leaves, chillies, followed by all spices and finally the tomato into a blender. Bleand to make a smooth thick paste.

Prepare the chicken thighs by removing the skin and excess fat around the meat and then wash till clean. place the chicken in a baking tray and pour the prpared pasted over the chicken. Once poured mix the chicken well so that the paste covers every part of the chicken.

Place the baking dish in the oven and cook for at least 45 mins to an hour or till all the gravy is almost dry.

Serve with garlic bread and coleslow.
