Chicken Schnitzel
An Israeli Staple!
chicken cutlets
flour
3 eggs
crushed cornflake crumbs or breadcrumbs
salt and pepper

 

Marinate chicken cutlets in a mixture of honey and mustard. Dip in plain flour. Dip in beaten egg. Dip in seasoned corn flake crumbs or other coating mixture. Fry one side at a time for a few minutes until golden brown and chicken is cooked. (If you don't want to fry the chicken, spray with a cooking oil spray and grill both sides).
