HOME MADE MEXICAN TORTILLAS
TORTILLAS
2 cups of flour
1tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. shortening
1 cup warm water

 

Mix well, rest 10 minutes. Knead 5 minutes. rest 10 minutes. Make in to 8 balls,let rest 10 minutes. pat flat,roll into circle. Place in to a medium hot skillet briefly then tun with spatula. remove from heat .Store in plastc bag. Re-warm
before serving.
