ONION CRISPS
Crispy Onion Fry
250 Grams of Gramflour (chick pea flour).
4 Large Onions.
1 Spoon Baking Soda.
6 Green Chillies.
50 Grams of Rice flour.
Salt to Taste.
250 ml Refined Oil.
Some Curry leaves.

 

Take the Gramflour in to a bowl. Add rice flour, baking soda and salt. Mix the ingredients well.

Cut the Onions lengthwise into shreds and mix with the above mixture. Add the lengthwise split green Chillies and the Curry leaves also.

Do not add any water. Let the moisture in Onions dampen the powder.

Add Oil to a deep bottomed pan and heat. Spread the Onions along with the other ingredients and fry in the Oil until deep brown.

SERVE HOT WITH TOMATO SAUCE.
