Sapota Pudding With Milk And Dry Fruits
Sapot (Sapodilla) fruit is very sweet containing Frctose, sucrose and many Vitamins and minerals. Sapota helps in curing constipation and protects the colon from cancer. Sapota is anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic and anti-viral.

Large,ripe sapota fruits : 12 nos.
Sugar powder : 250 grams
Whole milk : 500 ml
Milk powder : 1 Cup
Condensed milk : 1 Cup
Honey : 1/2 Cup
Cashew nuts : 50 grams
Almonds : 50 grams
Ghee (Clarified butter) ; 250 ml


1. Soak the almonds in warm water for half hour, peel the outer brown layer, dry and cut into shreds.

2. Take two spoons of ghee in a frying pan, heat and add the cashews and almond shreds and frt till brown.

3. Peel the sapota fruits and keep a side.

4. Boil the milk and reduce it to half the volume.

5. Take a deep bottomed pan, add half of the ghee, heat and add the sapota pulp. Fry. Add milk powder, milk condensed milk and the sugar powder and mix well. Add the cardamom powder and the remaining ghee and mix thoroughly.

6. Allow to cook till all the ingredients are blend with each other and the ghee shows up.

7. Top the preparation with fried dry fruits and honey.

8. Serve Hot.
