Tablet with Sultanas
3 oz. butter
2lbs. sugar
1 large tin of condensed milk
milk (fill the empty tin with milk)
pinch of salt
handfull of sultanas soaked in brandy or brandy flavouring

Put all ingredients except the sultanas into a pot over gentle heat until the sugar melts. Bring it to a slow boil for about ten minutess(put a bit in cold water if it forms a ball it is ready). Take off the heat and beat hard with a wooden spo, then pour into your prepared greased tray.

Squeeze out all of the liquid from the sultanas and pour them over the tablet, they will all sink into the tablet. When cooled slightly, mark the tablet into squares.

The sultanas help a little to cut through the sweetness of the tablet with a tiny bit of a chew in the middle. ENJOY!
