Marshmallow Fudge
Creamy Fudge Candy Bites
4 Cups mini marshmallows
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup margarine (1/4 c. not 1/4 of a lb.
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
12 oz. chocolate semi-sweet morsels
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (chop coarse) I put a handful between wax paper and use a rolling pin.

Combine marshmallows, evaporated milk, margarine, sugar and salt in a large teflon coated pot.

Cook and stir until it comes to a full boil.

Boil for 5 minutes (exact) over medium heat, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and add chocolate chips.

Beat until chips are melted.

Add vanilla and nuts and beat until blended.

Pour into greased 9x9x2 or approx. size pan. Chill.

Does not have to be refrigerated -you may keep it in a cool room with plastic wrap over it.

Makes 2-l/2 lbs. of fudge.

Note: This fudge is rich and creamy and not too sweet. Makes nice treats for gift giving. I slice the fudge into strips and then into little squares and put into doily lined tins for gift giving - teachers, friends, etc. Enjoy!
