Strawberry Cake with Strawberry Icing
1 box white cake mix
3/4 cup oil
4 eggs
1 cup pecans
1 small box strawberry gelatin
3/4 Cup milk
1 cup shredded coconut
2 cups strawberries, halved

Strawberry Frosting-
4 Tbls. butter
3 3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 strawberry mixture


Combine cake mix and gelatin. Add oil, milk, and egg yolks. Beat just enough to mix. In a separate bowl, mix coconut, nuts, and strawberries. Add half of the mixture to batter. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry. Fold into batter. Pour into three 8-9 in greased and floured cake pans. Bake 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Strawberry Frosting-
Cream butter/margerine. Stir in powdered sugar. Add remaining half of strawberry mixture. Beat well. Ice the cooled cake.
