Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Breakfast Delight!
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup sour cream

Filling and Topping Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tsp. margarine, melted


Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

Mix sugar, margarine and vanilla. Stir well. Add flour mixture and sour cream alternately to sugar mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

Spread half of the batter in a 10-inch prepared tube pan, greased and floured. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the brown sugar mixture. Add the rest of the batter and repeat with the brown sugar mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35-40 minutes. Cool upright in pan for 15 minutes. Invert onto a cooling rack. Invert again onto a serving plate Streusel Side Up.

Pour any leftover topping onto Streusel-coated top.
