Mango Coconut Lassi Cocktail
A Thick Alcoholic Yoghurt Smoothy
1 cup Natural Yoghurt
1 cup Canned Mango Pieces
1/2 cup Mango Syrup
2/3 cup Crushed Ice
15 ml Bacardi
30 ml Malibu
Juice of 1 Coconut
2 Tbls. Caster Sugar

 

A Lassi is a south Asian beverage, somewhat like a milkshake using yoghurt. Traditional Lassi's aren't sweet, however the western version can be. This is a sweet alcoholic Lassi. It uses canned Mango pieces, and the syrup from the can.

Place all ingredients in blender or food preocessor. Blend until smooth.

Serve topped with toasted coconut, or pinch of cinnamon.

You can add more ice to reduce the thickness of the lassi. You can also substitite Mango and Coconut flavours for berries and other alcohol like creme-de-cacao, baileys etc.
