Ferdie's best burgers
Origional specialty hamburger
large onion bun
2/3C lean hamburger
sweet relish
sliced red onion
sliced tomato
Velveta cheese


Flatten 1/3C hamburger to about 1/2 inch thick (I use waxed paper doubled over the hamburger).
Salt to taste

Place a dollop of mustard, catsup relish and 1 slice onion and one slice tomato on this patty.
Salt the other patty and place it gently on top. Using your hands,
carefully crimp the edges together trying to keep everything inside.
Grill for about 5 minutes, carefully it turn over and grill the other side. Place cheese on top. Put on toasted bun and enjoy.
