My aunt Cora used to make this, so it was one of my first memories!!!!
this is so simple you can't screw it up.
Take a about 1/2 lb. to a pound of fresh sour cream, your favorite brand, and mix it with one pack of Lipton's Onion/Mushroom Soup Mix.
Mix well and refrigerate for about an hour, covered with foil.
Have some people over, give them some potato chips, pull out the dip, and they won't stop eating it till the bowl's clean!!! True rednecks will be caught licking the bowl. This is not a pretty site.
But it tastes so good they'll be licking their fingers all over town.
