too bad , with such an easy,nice ,forum-ulated board why there aren't more people posting . I'm more than happy to chat with you. It is ,that it's so hard to come up with conversation when you're talking to yourself LOL.
I watch my 2 grandsons so I usually
don't have a chance to surf all my friendships that I have made on the cooking sites.
I would be happy to to converse with you anytime.
I live in Az.(nice weather right now ) later on in the year not too great, Inasmuch as the comfort is concerned , LOL.
I'm new to this board but have been a poster on many others down through the past 3 years.
I'm really gaining a passion for this one as I love the format here. I have many recipes to date. Had thousands some months ago but due to my stupidity and a click of the mouse (ahem , ahem) I lost them all.
REgaining my momentum! II am at your disposal to the best of my abilities or my CACHE LOL....................... pepper

Hey there Pepper.. Its great to hear from you! We used to get lots of posts here... and I've been trying to figure out what happened.. or if everyone just got shy!
Anyways... I'm from North Dakota.. and yesssss brrrrrrr... however, it is nearly June and so far no one's told someone that!! It was 29 degrees windchill here yesterday and yes that was cold!! However, we are supposed to start hitting the 70's now.. I can't wait!!
So you collect recipes?

Just joined. I am telling a few friends about this site too.
I collect recipe books. Have 6 shelves full plus 5 boxes in the attic AND a computer full!  Do I need help????  LOL
From Central Wisconsin which is JUST as cold as ND ! We are waiting for summer, it was beautiful today, finally got my tomato plants in.

I dont think you can use your own, I think you have to select from what is available.

And hey -- one of the very best cooks I've ever known is from Wisconsin!
She's the religion reporter at the newspaper where I works. And she's responsible for at least 10 of those extra pounds I'm carrying around!

I have spent a fair amount of time going through your recipe database today looking for certain things...and I just HAVE to tell you how proud I am of you guys for making this site what it is and sticking with it. HEY JOHN are you OUT THERE? This goes for you too. I can't believe how it's grown since it's inception, it's very impressive! I've bragged and blabbed about this site to all of my friends at work, I've even put in some of THEIR favorite recipes so that they could see just how wonderful this is. I have a few friends that are as "hooked" on the site as I am...and will continue to promote it every chance I get. I especially like this aspect of the site, it's a good draw. It's neat to come back and check for responses and see what's going on. Thanks again !!!!!
