5lbs of idaho potatoes, diced and UNPEELED!!
1-2 packages of hidden valley ranch dressing packets
2 cups sour cream
2-3 cups of shreaded cheddar
1 lb of hickory smoked bacon
1/2 cup of chives
1-3 cups of whole milk
2 tbsp of minced garlic
garlic power to taste

boil pots til fork tender. meanwhile cook bacon to a crisp, drain, and crush into small pieces
in a suitable bowl size, mashed and mixed all ingredients together, add milk and garlic power to taste. top with shredded cheddar cheese. optional...after mixing, place in a baking dish spread out evenly, cover top with shredded cheese then with clear plastic wrap then aluminum foil and bake for 30 min.
