chocolate pears

.4 pears .200g of sugar .1 cinnamon stick .1 clove .1ooml of single cream .1 tbsp brown sugar .20g butter .100g of good-quality dark chocolate
|
1. wash and peel the pears,leaving the stalk on
2.boil 500ml of water with the sugar,cinnamon stick and the clove
3.submerge the pears and simmer for 10-20 minutes or untill tender,then leave to cool in the syrup
4.heat the cream,the brown sugar,butter and chocolate,broken in to small peices in a small pan and stir untill creamy.
5.drain the pears and place them on paltes,pour the chocolate cream over the top and serve.
