cheesy mushroom burger casserole
1 lb. ground chuck
2 boxes of Kraft white cheddar macaroni and cheese (prepared according to package)
2- 10.5 oz. cans of cream of mushroom soup
1 small can of chopped mushrooms
1 cup of milk
salt and pepper to taste
sour cream(for topping), optional

 

Brown 1 lb.of ground chuck in a skillet. Drain the grease and put the ground chuck back into the skillet. Then stir 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup of milk, and 1 small can of chopped mushrooms(drained) into the ground chuck in the skillet. Simmer the mixture over medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the 2 boxes of white cheddar macaroni in a large pot, according to package. Once the macaroni is prepared, stir in the soup/ground chuck mixture. Stir until evenly mixed. Serve warm with a dallop of sour cream on top. Enjoy!
